1. Information we collect
When you use MyColorMix, we collect information you provide, such as your photograph, email address, and report preferences. We also create and retain information needed to provide your color analysis and personalized report.
When you make a purchase, we receive transaction details needed to confirm and support your order. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. We may also collect limited technical and security information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
2. How we use information
We use this information to perform your color analysis, generate and deliver your report, process payment, provide customer support, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photograph to train an AI model, and your photograph is not sent to any large language models.
3. Photo and report retention
- The original uploaded photograph is processed by our backend and is not retained after processing completes.
- Two private portrait crops may be retained in private storage for up to 30 days so they can appear in your report and PDF. They are then scheduled for permanent deletion.
- Your private report link and portrait access expire 30 days after report generation.
- Report content, analysis data, support history, and transaction records may be kept after link expiration for service administration, support, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, and legal obligations.
You may ask us to delete personal information earlier. Some transaction or compliance records may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.
4. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal information. You may also ask what information we hold and which providers process it.
Email support@mycolormix.com with the address used for your report. We may request reasonable verification before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
5. Security
We use measures designed to protect personal information, including private portrait storage, short-lived signed image links, hashed report-access tokens, access controls, and encrypted network connections. No security measure can eliminate every risk, so please keep your private report link confidential.
6. Children
MyColorMix is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@mycolormix.com.
